Back to the Future Typeface

Objective

Create a typeface that is inspired by a film. Using that typeface, create a poster highlighting the inspiration behind the elements within it and a movie poster.

Solution

Using the Back to the Future Trilogy as my inspiration, I created a typeface that has elements expressing movement with the circles as the starting point, and the lines representing travel. These elements also symbolize the hands on the clock tower, and the Flux Capacitor. In addition to the typeface, the movie poster utilizes a marker illustration of Dr. Emmett Brown.
